Snapchat having issues with saving data?

I was talking to this girl id talked to over a year we sent each other pictures & other stuff good vibes, but nothing serious. Anyway i was talking to her, and something weird happened, i was immediately booted out of the conversation and unable to talk to her. This was mid conversation we were both talking, compliments were given. Like imagine you have chat open and it kicks you out then says loading. Username still shows up and i dont think we are friends, but ALL OF our saved chats are gone.

Am i confused? did she get banned? ive been blocked which just hides the profile entirely, and ive been removed as a friend which still keeps our saved messages, Data has never once been deleted like this.
