Facebook/meta professional mode

I made a separate to page to partner my Instagram page that already monetizes (with 23,500 followers), and fb won't give me the option for professional mode, despite the fb page having thousands of followers already. The videos themselves have millions of views already on fb, so this is incredibly frustrating. Do I have to create a page to monetize? Or do I just start sharing on my personal profile? Professional mode is currently turned on, and NOW I see the option to “create a page” which I would’ve done in the first place had I known it was an option.
