Social Media Tips For Businesses.

What's up Reddit. I Have scaled 10+ Brands to a 100k+ followers on social media, This is how I did it & the best practices I found work well!

Before I go on I want to make a note that different platforms worked differently for me.

  • Twitter - All about volume & engagement
  • Ig, Meta, TikTok - Watch Time & Relatability
  • LinkedIn - Consistency + Networking.

Etc.

Personally when dealing with businesses & explaining social media to them I find one thing common everywhere.

They want to promote their business. Which is normal.

But you dont >

  • Post Product deals
  • Video Offers
  • Explain why you are the best.

Social media is an entertainment industry. Attention is a currency. So on average, videos we aimed to make funny, entertaining & captivating were the ones that performed the best!

Here is a Table That represents accurate things/workload needed in order to achieve consistent growth.

Platform Posting Volume
Twitter 5-7 Tweets/day , 15-20 engagements on other tweets/day
Instagram & Meta 1 post/w + 2-3 Reels a day, 3 Reels/week minimum.
TikTok 1-2 TikToks/day, 5/week- minimum.
LinkedIn 1 Post/day, 20 - 30 Comments on other posts/day
YT Shorts 1-3 Shorts/day, minimum 7/week

These are the metrics when I stuck to them & always saw results over a span of 2 months. 1/1 it worked for me.

The reason it worked it another thing.

When I recorded/Gave instructions to record content I made note to always follow 2 things.

  • Pose a Question in the viewers Mind.
  • Spark interest in the viewers Mind.

The format would look something like this >

  • Start with a question -> Into a riser/ answer that is posing another question -> Repeat Till end.
  • Open ended loop cut with a statement -> Riser/content piece -> Question leading into the loop at the start of the video.

Here is the breakdown of metrics that matter most for each platform >

|| || |Twitter|Engagement + Volume| |YT shorts|Consistency + YT SEO| |IG, Meta|Good Editing + Watch Time + Engagement| |TikTok|Consistency + Watch Time| |LinkedIn|Expertise on Topic + Consistency|

You stick with these, you will not fail.

Content Creation Tips To help with consistency.

  • Start posting when you have 2 weeks backlog of content.
  • Have a content calendar.
  • Reuse content on other platforms.

1x content is not 1 Platform. 1x Content is 5x Platforms > 5x reach.

Track your videos that perform well. Make a table & track what does well. When it does go well, analyze how it is different from all the other stuff & try to replicate.
