Social media image sizes for all networks [September 2025]

Social media image sizes seem to change … a lot. Never mind the confusion of new social platforms emerging, with their own content specs and aspect ratios. It doesn’t help that information about official dimensions and image sizes is surprisingly scarce. So what’s the big secret? The lack of official image guidelines is likely directly tied to the frequency of image guideline changes. The platforms don’t want to invest the time and energy to constantly update their image guidelines for end users. Fortunately, dear reader, we have invested that time and energy for you to create this comprehensive (and up-to-date) cheat sheet listing social media image sizes on all important social media platforms! Below are the most recent social media image dimensions, as of September 2025. Quick social media image sizes We go into more detail for every single network below, but this image includes the social media image sizes you probably look up most often. Basic Insta...

Seeking fellow HeroPost Users in the EU/Germany for Collective Action

Hello r/socialmedia community,

Thanks to the mods for their permission to post this.

I'm reaching out to see if there are any other HeroPost users from the European Union, maybe even Germany in particular, who have encountered issues similar to mine. In total, after months of trying, I've decided to pursue legal action against the platform. My experience so far:

  • non compatibility with Firefox, their support always refers to using Chrome as the one solution.
  • In my country, if a certain service does not work on typical platforms, like a browser, you are required to disclose this before leading users to a purchase agreement /sale contract.
  • They actively stated, in the support chat on their page, that HeroPost will continue to not work in Firefox (relevant why: in neither the landing page, shop pages, terms of use or any other document do they inform people upfront about Chrome as a must have requirement)
  • they are not willing to help further and no longer respond to my support requests
  • I switched to Chrome reluctantly to try and make it work - encountered the same problems.
  • I switched to Microsoft Edge reluctantly to try and make it work... Guess what...
  • I paid for Lifetime Access to what they now call the "old Platform", they in the meantime developed the now "new platform"
  • Without my consent they transferred me and my HeroPost account from old Platform to new Platform
  • somewhere in the meantime they still made official statements that lifetime access for the old platform will always be available
  • I lost access to the old platform, which I paid Lifetime Access for. This in itself wouldn't be that big of a problem, but (see next point)
  • If a user comes from the old platform per lifetime access, you do not have the same service scope as users who either subscribed monthly to or paid lifetime access to the new platform
  • they switched to 'Strife' for any payments transactions, to whose additional terms and agreements I now would have to consent to to upgrade to the new platform and the full service scope.
  • Nowhere on the platform, when logged in, am I able to access my account details, payment history, change my information, delete my account, change newsletter settings, ...
  • They repeatedly refused to refund my payment

Not all of these points are relevant to a lawsuit, but per the first assessment of my Germany based Lawyer, several of the reasons mentioned above are a direct violation of the European GDPR and/or are indictable actions regarding 'promotion of a product' vs 'usability of product'.

To this day I have not been able to make a single post to my socials with the use of Heropost, which is just an incredibly frustrating experience.

If you've experienced these or any other problems with HeroPost, I would appreciate connecting with you. I'm hoping to gather a group of users who are facing similar challenges, as this may strengthen our collective position.

Please feel free to share your experiences or reach out to me directly if you're interested in discussing this further. Your support and insights would be greatly valued.

Thank you for your time and consideration (and maybe an upvote for visibility).

Best regards,

HellionPr1me
