Do inactive followers hurt visibility?

I have a Twitter account I'm using to post art, but it's my first account, so it's from 2009 and although it has 900 followers, I'd say more than half of them are inactive accounts.

Does that work against me when it comes to pushing out my posts? As in, does Twitter take into consideration the ratio of followers-to-engagement, or is it irrelevant to getting posts pushed out?
