When you get alot of shares and views but very few comments. Does it mean people have negative things to say but would prefer to say in their own private space?

To preface this I've worked in many different industries doing social media and this is just my own personal observation but when the quality of the content is either mid or just bad or controversial the comments are few but the shares and views go up.

This unless the content was deliberately created in a way to coax or shock viewers into writing a negative comment.
