Is it legal to hire affiliates to DM potential customers on Instagram, Facebook, Etc.?

I have an idea to hire as many affiliates as possible to drive traffic to the sales funnel that promote my product and encourage prospects to book a call.
I want to know if there are any legal issues with this, as I wouldn't be the one sending the messages. The affiliates would be.
This is a way I see to build my brand online as well. The more traffic that is driven to my page, the larger following I can amass.
Would I also risk getting my main account banned? The main account will be what the affiliates drive traffic to.
My main account will not be DMing anyone, the affiliates' accounts will be the only ones direct messaging prospects.
