I need help with Reels

Sorry to waltz into this Reddit with a very amateur question, but I am planning a new Instagram account where I would like to spread my content (lifestyle related, links into current social trends) on Instagram but while I am pretty good with iPhone photography, I just can’t make good reels. Technically or in terms of filming the right kind of clips it seems. Is there a specialist area of social media work that can help with like artistic direction of reels? Is it usual to work with a freelancer if you need help with this? Or do creators tend to get started by copying others’ formats? Look forward to Insights from those with success on Instagram, thank you
