My FB and IG accounts (both over 20k followers) have been compromised. Both are sending “I need money, please help” messages to people on both pages. What do I do?

I have 2FA switched on and I never click on phishing emails etc

So I have no idea how this happened

  • I still have control over the pages
  • I didn’t get any emails from FB saying they’ve detected unusual activity etc

What’s my next step?

Change out passwords?

PS: if FB ask me to prove it’s me etc with government ID I’m screwed

My business name is different from my birth name

Thanks
