Freelance billing and rates?

I have an opportunity to manage social media for an art event for a school next year, where artists will display their work to be sold. I’m wondering how much I should charge and how many hours I should bill. It would be a part time, work from home kind of job.

This job entails creating and managing a content calendar and writing and scheduling posts to Instagram and Facebook. The artists participating would submit photos and videos, so it’s more planning and posting but not much content creation.

The event is next August, but they want to start populating content on the pages in January, then ramp up posting for promoting the event May-August.

So, what would you charge for this? And how many hours would you bill/budget weekly for this? I’ve never done any freelance work before, so this is all new!
