Android (& Linux?) client for unread in list?

I have a list with a small number of accounts that I like to keep up to date with, often taking notes from. Sometimes I miss several days, and I can end up several weeks behind while catching up. Having to scroll back is tedious, the Android app only goes back several weeks and if you use the end button to quickly the website rate limits you. Is there a third party client that will show me the first unread message in a list when I open it? I mostly use Android for this but a Linux client would be a bonus!
