New Data Shows Where Breaking Traffic Laws Is Most Likely to Turn Deadly — New Mexico Tops the List

A new analysis has revealed the U.S. states where ignoring traffic laws carries the greatest risk of fatal consequences — and New Mexico ranks as the most dangerous by a striking margin. The study, conducted by the  Simmrin Law Group , examined five years of crash data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and scored each state on three high-risk behaviours: distracted driving, speeding, and dangerous intersection crashes. Facebook should now focus on being a tool for people to make and nurture Real Life Friendships

When we all first joined FB, it was exciting to connect with friends, finding long lost elementary school buddies, reconnecting with family members you haven't talked to in forever and seeing how they've been doing over the years. But for those like me who have been on FB from the start, those exciting days of connecting virtually with real life friends was well over a decade ago. The excitement of engaging with friends on FB through pics and status updates has since shifted over to Tik Tok and IG. But those platforms have evolved more into following influencers and jumping on trends for more virtual social engagement.

You can be a big Tik Toker or IG Influencer with tens of thousands of followers and have no friends in real life. FB should really take the opportunity to focus on REAL Life Friendships/Relationships instead of trying to be Tik Tok or a sounding board for Karens to complain. Create features for people to make friends in real life and encourage people to maintain friendships through engagement on FB. We all realized in the pandemic that virtual cannot replace real life experiences and friendships. We cannot recreate going to a concert with friends and having a BLAST watching our favorite band on Twitch. We can't recreate the casual convos of an in person Happy Hour on Zoom.
