How can I stop Instagram bots?

Just started in a company as social media manager. The problem is that they bought followers a couple of years ago. The account keeps following random accounts that are not related with our activities and our rates are very low because of that. My mission is to improve the engagement rate but I want to stop those bots. How can I do this? I need organic and real followers but I can’t find a way to delete this bots from our account.
